Bioinformatics PhD candidate Dereje Jima will present his dissertation defense on Monday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. in TOX 2104 Auditorium.
His dissertation, titled “The Human Imprintome: Genome-wide Identification of Imprint Control Regions and Their Implications for Cardiometabolic Health,” explores genome-wide imprint control regions and their role in understanding cardiometabolic disease.
The work contributes to advancing knowledge in human health by identifying genetic imprinting patterns that may influence disease risk and biological processes.
